Abstract (inglese)

In this Thesis, a contribution to the analysis of induction machine is presented. The approach is to elaborate and detail models which combine analytical and finite element methods in novel and ingenious ways. Therefore, the speed of the analytical approach is refined with the accuracy of the finite element method and the synergy between the two methods is maximized.

Abstract (italiano)

In questa tesi si presenta un contributo all'analisi della macchina ad induzione. L'approccio seguito consiste nell'elaborare modelli che combinano metodi analitici ed agli elementi finiti in modi nuovi ed innovativi. In questo modo, la velocità dei metodi analitici e' potenziata con l'accuratezza del metodo agli elementi finiti, e la sinergia fra i due e' massimizzata .
