The school epoch: academic philosophy between the 15th and 17th centuries.
Between the 15th and 17th centuries, academic philosophy develops with covert collision between the spirit of the classical epoch and of medieval one. The precarious general connection with Aristotle's works does not hamper academic writers from being divided into a lot of movements, every one of them having its own authorities. The strong dialectical dynamics of ascent and the confrontation with the results of experimental sciences give a new form for academic philosophical thought and prepare an advent of philosophical systems of Modern
Age (from Wolf to Hegel).
