Abstract (inglese)

Currently, the scientific community is trying to overcome this extreme focus to move towards studies that observed as a result, in terms of change, results from a given element of the process. It grows, in fact, the need to identify and define the variables that increase the efficiency of the psychotherapeutic process (Burlingame, Strauss, & Joyce, 2013; Di Nuovo, Lo Verso, Di Blasi, & Giannone, 1998).
This research work is part of studies on the process of group psychotherapy, focusing on a specific variable: the therapeutic factors, an intricate interplay of human experiences from which it originated therapeutic change (Yalom, Leszez, 2005). These mechanisms are interacting and interdependent, and they are evident in any group therapy. The thesis project starts from Yalom’ s theory, which identifies 11 therapeutic factors responsible for the change in the patient.
The main objective of the research work is the analysis of the factorial structure of a scale buid for measuring the therapeutic factors of group, called FAT.A.S.-G. (Non-specific and Specific Therapeutic Factors of Group).
The information from this empirical study may result in a fruitful direction for clinical practice, it becomes, in fact, essential to use the data of empirical research in order to obtain useful information to systematize the preparation and conduct of the treatments (Gullo et al., 2010).
